The Department of Revenue has been in contact with the <br /> property office as per letter attached. Since the University has <br /> assumed the mortgage on this property from the Fraternity, this interest <br /> is against it and is valid just as any other taxpayer who did not <br /> submit payment before January 5, 1982. <br /> IMPACT: The County and City would forfeit $234.67 on interest if the request <br /> is approved. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Deny the Request. <br />
