i10,9 8 AC.�3 �z <br /> A meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Orange County, North <br /> Carolina, was held at Hillsborough, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting <br /> at 10:00 o'clock a.m,, on the 3rd day of May, 1982. <br /> Present: Corrmissioners Whitted, Gustaveson, Marshall Walker <br /> and Willhoit �. <br /> Absent: None <br /> The following resolution was read to the Board: <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION <br /> FOR THE FINANCING BY ORANGE COUNTY OF • <br /> THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF <br /> PAVING OAK HILL ROAD (S.R. 1835), IN <br /> CHAPEL HILL TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> received a petition requesting the paving of Oak Hill Road (S.R. 1835), in Chapel <br /> Hill Township,. Orange County, North Carolina, which petition has been signed by <br /> at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the owners of property adjoining the said <br /> roads, which property represents at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the lineal <br /> feet of frontage of the lands abutting the said roads, pursuant to North Carolina <br /> General Statute Section 153A-205(c); and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners of Orange County has elected <br /> to finance the local share of the costs of paving the said roads, as permitted by <br /> North Carolina General Statutes Section 153A-185(4) and as provided for in North <br /> Carolina General Statute Section 153A-205; <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1.. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local share of <br /> paving Oak Hill Road (S,R. 1835), in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North <br />
