The resumes have <br /> been reviewed and there are no current applicants. The Town of <br /> Carrboro has recommended Mr. Robert Giddings as its representative. <br /> Commission on Women: The office has received two applications; <br /> the Commission Chair, Ms. Peggy McCarthy, is interviewing applicaL <br /> prior to recommending applicants to the Boare of Commissioners. 1 <br /> purpose of the interview is to ensure the Commission appointees al <br /> willing to work on the Commission. <br /> Hillsborough Planning Board: The Town Commissioners are inter- <br /> viewing applicants the evening of 4/29/82; I expect a recommendation <br /> for this position on 4/30/82. <br /> Orange County Planning Board: Ms. Claudine Harris, Eno Township <br /> representative, has resigned; I am attaching the resume of Dr. Lloyd <br /> Heron who lives in Eno Township. Additionally, the Cedar Grove <br /> Representative seat is still vacant. <br /> Recreation Advisory Council: The Cheeks Township and Little River <br /> Township seats are vacant. I am attaching resumes for Barry Thomas <br /> Torain and Ms. Elaine Parker, respectively. <br /> Southern Triangle Fire District Board of Trustees: The Board of <br /> Commissioners reserved on appointment to the four member Board. <br /> Industrial Facilities E Pollution Control Financing Authority: <br /> The terms of Dr. Bergman and Mr. McClamroch expired March, 1981. <br /> (See the attorney's letter to you, dated 4/15/82) Both wish to be <br /> reappointed. <br /> Carrboro Board of Adjustment: The Board of Aldermen recommends <br /> that Mr. Bruce Browning and Ms. Margaret Brown be appointed to th <br /> Board as extraterritorial members for terms effective immediately <br /> and expiring in April of 1988 and 1984 respectively. See the letter <br /> and Resolution from the Town of Carrboro. <br /> Senior Citizens Board: Position created by virtue of Ms. Williams' <br /> inability to attend the meetings on a regular basis. Please refer <br /> to the attached memorandum with attachments from Mr. Passmore and <br /> Ms. Williams' reply to Mr. Passmore. <br />
