Tare is indication <br /> that present design standards in several aspects, as Matthews <br /> states, Gordon seconded, <br /> AMENDED MOTION: That the request for Class A Special Use Permit for General <br /> Aviation Airport Buck Mountain Corporation be denied for <br /> the following reasons: Findings of Facts shows the following: <br /> 1) FAA Firm standards have not been met particular with <br /> respect 2,000 feet from each end of runway, mention in the <br /> letter, Mr. Brucke Matthews, North Carolina Deparatment of <br /> Transportation. In addition the location is not adequate and is <br /> incompatible with the ground transportation corridors. The <br /> letter from the Volunteer Fire Department has concerns <br /> with the project. There were no letters on file on the <br /> submittal from the Emergency Services, <br /> 6 <br />
