NEED: All Positions have been advertised. Energy Carmission: Status unchanged; we have not received a recommendation fran the Town of Carrboro on its representative. There are two other vacancies. Commission on Women: I am attaching one resume which the office received.. There are several vacancies; one is the Cedar Grove representative. Hillsborough Planning Board: I have not received a recommendation from the Town of Hillsborough; I understand they are interviewing applicants prior to making a recommendation. The vacancy is created by the resign- ation of Mr. Areford, Orange County Planning Board: The Cedar Grove Representative's term expired. Recreation Advisory Council: South Orange Fire District Board of Trustees: The Board made four appointments to this five member Board; it reserved one appointment. Orange County Board of Adjustment: The terms of Mr. Jim Carter and Dr. Joseph Suggs expired on April 2, 1982. Both are eligible for reappoint- ment and both wish to serve another term. Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority: There are currently two positions vacant on this Authority. I am attaching one letter and one resume which I've received. Capital Health Systems Agency, Inc: With Commissioner Nhitted's appointment as the Board's representative to this agency he is no longer eligible to serve on the Board Selection Committee. Chairman Mated suggested that COnmissioner Gustaveson might be willing to serve as the County's representative on the Board Selection Committee; Commissioner Gustaveson is willing to serve. In addition, Ms. Elliott at the HSA has asked that the Board submitt two names for service in the vacant provider position. She asked that the Board submit a name of a provider and a consumer in order that the agency may have a choice regarding the number of representatives fium that category, i.e. the agency may need to increase the number of con- sumers to keep the proportion of each in line with by-laws. (ex., Orange County may have two consumer delegates to this Board Selection Canmittee rather than one provider and one consumer.) This slot has not been advertised.
