Orange Count should adopt the following recommendations regarding <br /> on-site waste water disposal systems: All newly platted lots bordering <br /> on perennial streams and requiring an on-site waste water disposal. <br /> s stem should show a second dis•osalarea to be recorded as an ease- <br /> ment on the final plat and no building or other activity should occur <br /> on this portion of the parcel of land which would prevent its future <br /> use for on-site waste disposal. Orau •e County should investigate <br /> developing an on-site waste water disposal system monitoring and <br /> maintenance program for the three water supply watersheds in the <br /> county. V <br /> PLANNING BOARD ACTION: <br /> Gordon motioned approval of the recommendation. Irvin seconded. <br /> Motion passed with Lunsford, Irvin, Gordon, Cleary, Harris, <br /> Crawford, in favor; Kizer and Shanklin opposed. <br /> 15. Oran:e County should adopt stormwater management measures that would <br /> apply to protected watersheds. <br /> PLANNING BOARD ACTION: <br /> Cleary moved approval of the recommendation. Orange County should adopt the two followin: recommendations re:ard- <br /> i.ng sedimentation and erosion: the Count . should continue to administer <br /> a strong local sedimentation and erosion control program.
