ENO TAC <br /> November 10, 1981 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Council members discussed the absence of certain pieces of information <br /> noted in the Report and expressed concern that this information be <br /> considered prior to any action on the Report. <br /> MOTION: _ <br /> Harris motioned that <br /> consideration be given to delay action <br /> on the Report until other parts of the <br /> equation were available ( such as, the <br /> status of Cane Creek; information on the <br /> supply in Jordan Reservoir; the State <br /> report; and stormwater management measures). <br /> Barbour amended the original motion to include the reference to storm— <br /> water management measures. <br /> Barbour inquired if the County had a conservation plan. : Luce responded <br /> that the resolution was passed by the Board. <br /> Rees noted that he had reservations on the motion. but that even so,the ' .- <br /> motion would pass without his vote. <br /> VOTE: Motion passed, Rees abstaining. <br /> Barbour expressed concern with the lack of conservation efforts in Chapel <br /> Hill. Harris agreed noting that thet, owns included the majority of users. <br /> Luce responded that CM2 SA has a Conservation Plan for University Lake <br /> based on the level below the dam during a drought. <br /> Barbour asked if the Eno State Park Reservoir site was referenced in the <br /> Report. Luce responded that it had but noted that it was out of the <br /> County. <br /> Barbour asked if there had been any consideration of landowner compensation <br /> due to these restrictions. Luce responded that that had not been formally <br /> considered by the Task Force, but that that would be addressed if <br /> the regulations implied limitations to usage of the land to a reasonable <br /> degree. <br /> RECOMMENDATION # <br />
