It has been determined that the oroposd runway extension at <br /> Midway Airport, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, located at latitude <br /> 35°56'30" N., longitude 79° 12'50" W. , will not adversely affect the <br /> safe and efficient ue of the navigable airspace by aircraft, <br /> provided all operations are conducted in Wi. weathet: conditions. <br /> Please' advised that the airport is near publi5!frled IFR (IR-86) and <br /> VFR (VP-1061 ) low level military roues. These routes are generally <br /> used daily up to 3,000 feet AGI, at speeds up to 450 )(riots. <br /> We are coordinating the proposed runway extension with the Federal <br /> Highway Administration. We do not anticipate any objection; however, <br /> we will, let you know if they have any comment . <br /> This determination should not be construed to mean FAA approval of <br /> the physical development involved in the proposal. It is only a <br /> determination with respect to thc safe and efficient use of airspace <br /> by aircraft.
