'!.i ` • 1 <br /> iS <br /> 'T,„t". ' AIRPf3RT, LIMITED AVIATION. An airport which is operated for the benefit of the <br /> ',University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and N.C. Memorial Hospital as further de <br /> fined in this Section. <br /> 1 <br /> The airport has only one runway, and the length of such runway does not <br /> exceed 3,500 feet. <br /> 2. The total number of aircraftbased at the airport does not exceed 50. <br /> No commercial operation other than maintenance shall be permitted at the <br /> facility. <br /> 3. The airport is restricted to small aircraft only. Specifically, use of <br /> the airport is prohibited to fixed-wing jet-powered aircraft, and aircraft <br /> weighing over 12,500 pounds maximum certificated take-off weight. <br /> 4. The airport shall have a landing pattern as approved by the Council . The <br /> landing pattern shall include consideration of surrounding ' aild uses and tl <br /> relationship of the landing pattern to such land uses. <br /> 5. Pilot training at the airport is limited to classroom trainin, only. <br /> 6. Non-emergency maintenance at the airport is limited to the maximum 50 plan( <br /> i . ; based at the airport. <br /> 7. Non-emergency use of the airport is permitted between the hours of 6:00 a.r <br /> and 9:00 p.m. only. <br /> 8. Applicable Federal Aviation Administration regulations shall be observed <br /> at the airport at all times. <br /> 9. No gliders, helicopters , balloons, experimental aircraft or miniature air- <br /> craft are based at or operated from the airport.
