Such assurance must be attained without <br /> a commitment of the University to move to such a facility. The <br /> University cannot place itself in a positionof being the first <br /> to move to a new airport and, in fact, the University would <br /> need to seek the funding that would be required to make such a <br /> move. <br /> The University is encouraged by the proposal for the new Midway <br /> Airport as representing the first indication of a move to establish <br /> an acceptable alternative airport facility for southern Orange <br /> County.
