00745 <br /> 7. That the central water distribution system for <br /> the proposed development be approved by the <br /> Department of Health Services prior to the start <br /> of any Construction. The system be designed to <br /> include a 50,000 gallon above ground storage <br /> tank, that fire hydrants be placed such that no <br /> building is more than 400' by road from a hydrant. <br /> The hydrants shall be capable of flowing water <br /> at 1,000 gallons;minute at 20 psi, the water lines <br /> at be sized so that it is ibossible to obtain 1,000/ <br /> gals/udnute from neigbboring hydrants simultaneously. <br /> Each building should have a conveniently placed hook- <br /> up where a fire truck can feed into the water system. <br /> That the developers provide a stand by pump to <br /> increase pressure on the system, if pressure should <br /> fall during a fire. <br /> 8. That the fire hydrant located nearest Hwy. 54 be <br /> made available to the Orange Grove Volunteer Fire <br /> Dept. in case there is a fire in the Highway 54 area <br /> of their fire district. <br /> 9. That an adequate water delivery system be available <br /> at the tine the first building is completed <br /> and ready for occupancy. <br /> 10. That the developers or owners association provide <br /> manpower on a 24 hr./day basis that can provide <br /> the following services to the Fire Department: <br /> a. Assist in fire fighting <br /> (this person will need <br /> fire training and could <br /> become a neither of Grange <br /> Grove Fire Co.); <br /> b. Direct the Fire Co. to the <br /> fire scene and have master <br /> keys to all gates and build- <br /> ings; <br /> c. Be in radio contact with the <br /> Fire Co. in order to turn <br /> them back in case of a false <br /> alarm and to provide addit- <br /> ional information in the <br /> case of real emergenpy. <br /> d. The above people shall be <br /> equipped with the following: <br /> turn out gear, portable fire <br /> extinguishers, master keys, <br /> fire fighting foam, two-way <br /> poltab]e radio and air pack. <br />
