00745 7. That the central water distribution system for the proposed development be approved by the Department of Health Services prior to the start of any Construction. The system be designed to include a 50,000 gallon above ground storage tank, that fire hydrants be placed such that no building is more than 400' by road from a hydrant. The hydrants shall be capable of flowing water at 1,000 gallons;minute at 20 psi, the water lines at be sized so that it is ibossible to obtain 1,000/ gals/udnute from neigbboring hydrants simultaneously. Each building should have a conveniently placed hook- up where a fire truck can feed into the water system. That the developers provide a stand by pump to increase pressure on the system, if pressure should fall during a fire. 8. That the fire hydrant located nearest Hwy. 54 be made available to the Orange Grove Volunteer Fire Dept. in case there is a fire in the Highway 54 area of their fire district. 9. That an adequate water delivery system be available at the tine the first building is completed and ready for occupancy. 10. That the developers or owners association provide manpower on a 24 hr./day basis that can provide the following services to the Fire Department: a. Assist in fire fighting (this person will need fire training and could become a neither of Grange Grove Fire Co.); b. Direct the Fire Co. to the fire scene and have master keys to all gates and build- ings; c. Be in radio contact with the Fire Co. in order to turn them back in case of a false alarm and to provide addit- ional information in the case of real emergenpy. d. The above people shall be equipped with the following: turn out gear, portable fire extinguishers, master keys, fire fighting foam, two-way poltab]e radio and air pack.
