The evaluation c .,cLz <br /> include several that are land use <br /> related: 1) location in planned low <br /> density areas 2) proximity to industr;a. <br /> areas 3) structures within 1/2 mile <br /> ot the site 4) impact on agricultural <br /> activity 5) proximity to environmentall! <br /> sensitive areas and historic sites 6) <br /> proximity to protected watersheds. <br /> The site proposed for this special use <br /> permit compares well in these categorie! <br /> to other sites identified in this <br /> study. Its main assets are that it is <br /> away from current or proposed resi- <br /> dential development it is close to <br /> Chapel Hill/Carrboro and has good <br /> access along highway 54. However, the <br /> site also has certain disadvantages. <br /> It is within 1 mile of the Cane Cr- ' <br /> water supply watershed.
