00710 8Llo This proposal for a major office and warehousing complex distant from Chapel Hill/Carrbbro in rural Bingham township is not com- patible with the policies, both stated and implied in the Land Use Plan. It is Particularly at odds with one of the major themes of the Plan which is to promote residential and comercial development in and around the existing urban centers. The intent is to make best use of existing public investment in water and sewer service, to promote energy efficiency by having commercial uses close to population centers, and to prevent sprawl develop- rent. 8.2.4 In addition to the General Standards's stated in 8.2 the following Specific Standards shall be addressed by the applicant before the issuance of a Speci-al Use Permit: a) Method and adequacy of provision of a) It is proposed that a pack- sewage disposal facilities, solid waste, age sewage treatment plant and water. would be built and operated by the developers or property owners association.
