shop drawings, and preparation of as-built drawings of all <br /> construction. <br /> Engineering fee shall be $6,300, and shall become due and payable <br /> monthly during construction in proportion to the monthly payments to <br /> the contractor(s) . <br /> III. SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCE <br /> The engineering services described in Section II shall be accomplished <br /> on the following schedule: <br /> The ENGINEER shall diligently pursue the project formulation activities <br /> under item hA. The Clean Water Bond grant application shall be prepared <br /> such that it can be filed before March 31, 1982. <br /> The ENGINEER shall accomplish Item IIB, design, within 60 days of being <br /> notified by the OWNER to begin the design. <br /> The engineering services for approvals, negotiation with contractors, <br /> construction stakeout and inspection shall be diligently pursued by the <br /> ENGINEER. <br /> IV. PROVISION FOR EXTRA SERVICES <br /> At the request of the OWNER, the ENGINEER shall perform other engineering <br /> services associated with this project. For these additional services; <br /> the OWNER shall compensate the ENGINEER monthly in accordance with the <br /> following schedule of hourly charges: <br /> Engineer $35.00/hour <br /> Planner $27.00/hour <br /> Technician $24.00/hour <br /> Sr. Drafter $20.00/hour <br /> Jr. Drafter $16.00/hour <br /> Secretary $14.00/hour <br /> Survey Party $35.00/hour <br /> Inspector $18.00/hour <br /> V. COSTS NOT INCLUDED <br /> The compensation for engineering services stated hereinabove does not <br /> include the cost of: <br /> --legal advertisements for construction contracts. <br /> --the cost of reproducing plans and specifications for the bidding <br /> process, or postage for mailing plans and specifications to contractors. <br /> --the cost of soils tests to assure the contractors' compliance with <br /> compaction specifications. <br /> --redesigns of facilities after final plans have been approved. <br /> --court appearances for litigation. <br />
