B. For projects within existing service areas or extending <br /> 8" or smaller diameter mains not more than 750 feet be- <br /> yond existing facilities, a final. determination will be <br /> made by the staff, subject to appeal to the Board of <br /> Directors, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the <br /> essential water and sewer service data for the project. <br /> C. For proposed projects extending the area served and not <br /> subject to the planning process of one or more govern- <br /> mental units, following a staff review period of up to <br /> thirty (30) days, the proposal will be presented to the <br /> Board of Directors at their next regularly scheduled <br /> Committee of the whole meeting at which time they will <br /> either make a decision on the project or table it for <br /> later consideration. A final decision on the request <br /> will be made within thirty (30) days of the initial <br /> consideration. <br /> D. Projects not subject to the planning process Of one or <br /> more governmental units which l) extend mains 8" <br /> or above more than 750 feet or 2) extend mains into the <br /> Joint Planning Area: Rural and Joint Planning Area: <br /> University Lake Watershed, shall be submitted to the <br /> parties of the Agreement for courtesy review. <br /> E. Implementation and interpretation of the Water and Sewer <br /> Extension Policies and the Courtesy Review Agreement is <br /> the responsibility of the Executive Director. The <br /> Executive Director is authorized to make clarifications <br /> and minor revisions to assure a fair and equitable <br /> application of the extension policies and the processing <br /> and review procedure. <br /> F. For proposed projects requiring a public hearing, the <br /> review period will extend through the meeting next <br /> succeeding the public hearing. <br /> G. From time to time on a pro,Wt basis the above schedule <br /> may be departed from if adequate information, is not <br /> available that is necessary for a determination. Lack <br /> of definitive action shall not be presumed to be implicit <br /> approval. <br /> 1• <br />
