The Inspections division <br /> is now assulted with an array of different devices intended <br /> to provide heat or cooling for buildings. The building <br /> codes need to be adopted to outline what type installations <br /> are allowed and which are not. This objective may require <br /> additional training for inspectcrs. <br /> SUGGESTED WORK OBJECTIVE 6: ADOPTION OF A BUILDING CODE ORDINANCE <br /> Orange County should adopt a loci ordinar:ce or the enforce- <br /> ment of the State Building Code waking specific reference to <br /> construction, electrical service, plumbing and mechanical. <br /> Other jurisdictions electrical service, plumbing and mechanical. <br /> Other jurisdictions have similar orlinances and this should not <br /> require extensive work. <br /> • <br />
