• 12 <br /> ADDED WORK OBJECTIVE 16: SUPERVISE THE ROAD SIGN CREW <br /> 6 MONTH REPORT: <br /> This project took considerable time (primarily Cannity's) for <br /> the months of July and August and less time for the months <br /> September through November. The road crew erected about 1,200 <br /> signs at 600 intersections throughout the County. During the <br /> sunnier there was a supervisor and 3 laborers in the fall the <br /> crew consisted of a supervisor and 2 laborers. <br /> ADDED WOK OBJECTIVE 17: INSPECT ALL NEWLY CONSTRUCTED PRIVATE <br /> ROADS TO ENSURE ORANGE COUNTY PRIVATE <br /> ROAD STANDARDS <br /> 6 MONTH REPORT: <br /> No work done by Current Planning. This had been done by <br /> the S & E division prior to February 1, 1982. <br /> 411 PROJECTIONS FOR NEXT 6 MONTH: <br /> The Current Planning division will inspect 16 private roads <br /> which will requite 32 inspection trips. This will have to <br /> be done by Current Planning because the S & E division has <br /> been downgraded and reduced in size. <br /> SUGGESTED WORK OBJECTIVE 18: MOBILE HOME PARK ORDINANCE <br /> The State of North Carolina has adopted minimum standards <br /> for the operation of a Mobile Home Park, this covers various <br /> aspects such as access, trash remove', tie downs, etc. Orange <br /> County should adopt at a minimum the state code, with modifications <br /> to the particular situation here in the County, <br /> SUGGESTED WORK OBJECTIVE 19: INTEGRATE ENERGY CONSERVATION CONCERNS <br /> INTO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE <br /> Energy conservation measures will be integrated into the <br /> Land Development Code. The Energy Office will handle most <br /> of the drafting of this, Current Planning will coordinate the <br /> review of proposals. <br /> SUGGESTED WORK OBJECTIVE 20: MANUFACTURED HOUSING LAW COORDINATION <br /> Insure that Orange County Development Regulations are not in <br /> conflict with this new law. Revise or draft any necessary changes. <br />
