The poorest utilization of space would result as some of the <br /> agencies (Dept. on Aging and CETA) would have more space than <br /> they could effectively utilize. <br /> 2. It would mean a use during the day with no activities at night <br /> to help in security. <br /> 3. Cost savings in terms of avoided rental would be the least of <br /> the alternatives. <br /> Alternative 2: Maintain existing agencies and allocate some unassigned <br /> space and part of the space used by Day Care for occupancy <br /> by RSVP, the Driver's License Examiner and Sheriff's Office: <br /> Advantages: <br /> T. This would further the multipurpose approach. Example of the <br /> RSVP is that it serves in conjunction with the Department on <br /> Aging. The Driver's License activity would facilitate greater <br /> citizen exposure to building and its use as a governmental facility <br /> for meeting a diverse number of citizen needs. <br /> 2' For Sheriff personnel to be present would aid building security <br /> as someone would be present around the clock. <br /> 3. There would be greater cost saving for Driver's License. The <br /> savings would be $14,400 a year in avoided rental. Value of <br /> Sheriff space would be $4,000 a year based on normal rental of <br /> office space ($8 a square foot). <br /> Combined savings per year $18,400 <br /> 4.
