Built in the 1020'x it was scheduled for renovation <br /> ��� " ^ <br /> (upgrade heating, air conditioning, ceilings, window repair, painting and <br /> floor tile) in order to better accommodate the community and governmental <br /> agencies which need to operate in the southern part of the county' <br /> It is an asset to the community and to the County, particularly as <br /> rental costs have escalated. Space is not readily available either in <br /> Carrboro or Chapel Hill. This fact coupled with the fact that the building <br /> will be more suitable for office use once it is renovated makes for more <br /> competitive demands. <br /> This report presents the alternatives available for decision on the <br /> number and type of occupants, <br /> The occupants at present include: <br /> Amount of <br /> Square Feet <br /> JOCCA and Senior Citizen Nutrition Program 2139 <br /> Legal Aid 252 <br /> CETA 713 <br /> Day Care 2657 <br /> Unassigned 1176 <br /> • See existing floor allocation, sheet 1 of the architect's rendering, <br /> Proposed usage falls under four alternatives. <br /> Alternative Maintain existing agencies and add the Senior Citizen <br /> ----------- Volunteer Program (RSVP) and allocate unassigned space <br /> to the Senior Citizen Program of the Department on Aging. <br />
