Built in the 1020's it was scheduled for renovation <br /> in order to better accommodate the community and governmental agencies which <br /> need to operate in the immediate community and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area. <br /> It is an asset to the community and to the County, particularly as rental <br /> costs have escalated. Space is not readily available either in Carrboro or <br /> Chapel Hill . Approve Alternative 3 providing public hearing in the community shows <br /> community as well as Board acceptance. <br /> This is believed to combine the most related agencies and is the most <br /> cost effective. <br />
