<br /> PROCLAMATION
<br /> We, the Mayors of Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and the Chairman of the
<br /> Orange County Commissioners, do hereby proclaim the week of February
<br /> 21 - 27, 1982 to be
<br /> SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK
<br /> We all wish to stress the importance of providing training for both
<br /> . . riders and drivers and to Impress upon them the need for being
<br /> courteous and helpful to each other while riding or operating our
<br /> school buses; and
<br /> We wish to call attention to the importance of cooperation by parents,
<br /> teachers and students, and to urge all those concerned to work to-
<br /> gether diligently to ensure that necessary safety precautions are taken
<br /> throughout the school year.
