County Attorney's Report <br /> NONE <br /> 11. Appointments <br /> a. Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool —Appointment <br /> The Board considered making an appointment to the Animal Services Hearing Panel. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Dorosin to <br /> appoint Amanda Schwoerke to #10 -At-Large position vacancy expiring March 31, 2017. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> b. Amendment of Membership Roster and Make Appointment(s) to the Orange <br /> County Criminal Justice Advisory Council <br /> The Board considered amending the membership roster of the Criminal Justice <br /> Advisory Council and making appointment(s) to the Criminal Justice Advisory Council (CJAC). <br /> Chair McKee said Commissioner Pelissier will be resigning from the Board of <br /> Commissioners in December, and thus that would affect her position on this committee. <br /> Chair McKee said the Board would like to create an Emeritus position for Commissioner <br /> Pelissier starting December 1St <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Rich to create <br /> an Emeritus position and appoint Commissioner Pelissier to the Emeritus position effective <br /> December 1, 2016. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> Chair McKee said with Commissioner Pelissier moving to this position, a vacant BOCC <br /> position is open on this Council. <br /> Commissioner Pelissier said when this Council was originally created, she and <br /> Commissioner Jacobs, who had both been on the Jail Alternatives Work Group, volunteered to <br /> continue to be part of this conversation and process, and, thus, were added to this Council. <br /> She said it should now be included in the Board's Boards and Commissions annual selection <br /> process going forward, which will take place in February 2017. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said the next meeting of the CJAC is on the December 9th and <br /> he encouraged any Commissioners interested in serving to attend the meeting, in order to get <br /> an idea of what this Council is about. <br />
