AMENDMENTS by adding a new Article <br /> 20. 3. 3 - Applications for Amendments-Joint Planning Area <br /> which require that amendment procedures for both the <br /> Orange County Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Atlas be as <br /> specified in the Joint Planning Agreement adopted <br /> November 2, 1987, and that any amendments adopted by <br /> Orange County be incorporated by reference into its <br /> Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Atlas. The proposed <br /> amendment further provides that where there is <br /> inconsistency between the Zoning Ordinance and the Joint <br /> Planning Agreement, the provisions of the Joint Planning <br /> Agreement shall apply. <br /> Upon adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Atlas <br /> amendments described above, the Towns of Chapel Hill and <br /> Carrboro will administer their land development standards <br /> within their respective Transition Areas. <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this <br /> hearing and be heard. Public comment will be received during <br /> the public hearing. Following the close of the public <br /> hearing, evidence presented at the public hearing will be <br /> examined by the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners for <br /> decision. <br /> • Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which <br /> reflect debate, objections and discussion at the hearing. <br /> Questions regarding the proposals may be directed to the <br /> Orange County Planning Department, the Town of Chapel Hill <br /> Planning Department and the Town of Carrboro Planning <br /> Department.
