Amending the Joint Planning Land Use Plan text and <br /> map to reflect the existence and show the location <br /> of Transition Area I and II designations. <br /> The proposed Zoning Plan addresses item 2-b above. <br /> The Orange County Planning Staff has reviewed the <br /> proposed Zoning Plan and found it consistent with the <br /> Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan. (See attached <br /> memorandum. ) <br /> At its March 3, 1988 meeting, the Carrboro Board of <br /> Aldermen approved a resolution which requested that the <br /> Board of Commissioners consider the proposed Zoning <br /> Plan for adoption in the Carrboro Joint Development <br /> Review Area. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Orange County Planning Staff recommends approval of <br /> the proposed Zoning Plan for the Transition Areas in <br /> the Carrboro Joint Development Review Area and its <br /> incorporation into the Orange County Zoning Atlas. <br /> An Orange County Planning Board recommendation will be <br /> prepared on July 18, 1988. The Board of Commissioners <br /> will consider the proposal for decision on August 15, <br /> 1988. <br /> - - - _ <br />
