While I support the decision to use Eubanks Road for the waste transfer station, I <br />also believe that Orange County, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro owe a great deal to the Road <br />community for having the landfill operations in their neighborhood for so long. During my <br />time on the OWASA board, I made multiple enquiries into how. sewer service could be <br />.provided to thi neighborhood and continue to watch for possibilities. I also pbelieve that <br />my training in education can benefit this task force, since school based programs are <br />another obvious area in which enhancements are needed.
