Included in the discussion for clarification were the <br /> following issues: <br /> • Under what circumstances should a property be named <br /> • What can be named <br /> • Should a county property be named for a living person <br /> • Definition of renaming a property <br /> The BOCC discussed the issues and requested the following amendments to the policy <br /> (Attachment 1): <br /> Section 2.1.3: Add "after a public participation process" <br /> Section 2.1.5 (b): Remove "monetary" <br /> The previous amendments to the Orange County Property Naming Policy are attached <br /> for review as well as the list of County named facilities and naming policy comparison. <br /> (Attachments 2 — 6). <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no immediate financial impact related to this discussion. <br />
