Below are the details for replacing both gutters and
an option to replace the current downspouts (highly recommended) as well as installing Berger
(RT Series) snow guards on the edge of the roof(45pc for each side).
Set up equipment, scaffolding, hoisting devices and any safety devices necessary to complete the
work outlined below. The scaffolding will be rented from Associated Scaffolding Company. One
side of the building will be entirely set up, and once the work is completed on said side,
Associated Scaffolding Company will come back and move the scaffolding to the other side.
Remove existing gutters, hangers and all (if any) rotten fascia behind and haul away. Please
have an allowance of$2,500 for all damaged fascia replacement with a cost of$18.00 per
foot for anything in excess to this allowance in addition to this contract as it is currently
impossible to predict how much damaged wood is present.
The new 16oz lead coated copper 6"half-round gutters will be installed with new copper shank
and circles with all brass fasteners (nuts and bolts) and attached to the building with stainless
steel screws.
Optional new 4"round lead coated copper(LCC) downspouts are recommended but not
mandatory. Should you want to replace the downspouts, we will install them at the same
locations and connect them to the underground pipes. This is priced separately.
We also recommend installing snow guards on this building. Those snow guards, due to the
double lock standing seam roof system, will be installed on the standing seam to prevent any
fasteners from penetrating the metal roof. They will also be reusable in case you need to replace
