DocuSign Envelope ID:A9CF8A9E-4CDB-4BB9-A678-D4AD80CD1393 <br /> 5thWall Building Diagnostics Consultants Roof Replacement <br /> Central Recreation Center <br /> Hillsborough,NC <br /> August 2016 <br /> 3.03 Pre-Roofing Conference <br /> Prior to ordering roofing materials but after approval of the shop drawings, a pre-roofing <br /> conference shall be held by appropriate personnel representing the Owner, (including the <br /> inspector), Owner's Representative, Designer, General Contractor (if any), Mechanical <br /> Contractor, Roofing Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and roofing materials manufacturer <br /> representative at least seven days prior to proposed start of field work. The Designer shall make <br /> all arrangements for the meeting. The Contractor shall have its project manager and designated <br /> job foreman/superintendent present at the meeting. Failure to include all of the proper personnel <br /> at the meeting shall be cause to re-schedule the meeting at the expense of the Contractor. Should <br /> the project manager or job foreman/superintendent or manufacturer change, the meeting shall be <br /> re-held at the expense of the Contractor. The Designer's specifications,plans and flashing details <br /> shall be discussed and any problems or discrepancies resolved. Scheduling of the work of the <br /> various trades shall also be reviewed and established. Representatives of Owner, Owner's <br /> Representative, Designer, General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, and Roofing Contractor <br /> will be established at the Pre-Roofing Conference. A written record shall be made of the <br /> proceeding by the Designer and shall become a part of the job record. The Agenda for the <br /> Conference will consist of the following items as a minimum: <br /> 1. Contract documents <br /> 2. Communications channels and procedures <br /> 3. Field change orders and decisions <br /> 4. Project meeting schedules <br /> 5. Construction schedule <br /> 6. Rules and regulations affecting the work <br /> 7. Safety requirements <br /> 8. Staging,material storage and parking <br /> 9. Organization of Contractor, Subcontractors,material suppliers,Designer <br /> 10. Shop drawings and submittals <br /> 11. Project record documents <br /> 12. Technical discussion to include as a minimum <br /> a) Review of methods and procedures for roofing installation to include the <br /> manufacturers written instructions <br /> b) Review of flashings, details, drainage , penetrations, equipment curbs, <br /> and other conditions that may affect the work <br /> c) Review of loading limitations of the deck during roof work <br /> d) Examination of substrate for compliance with specified requirements <br /> 13.
