DocuSign Envelope ID:A9CF8A9E-4CDB-4BB9-A678-D4AD80CD1393 <br /> FORM OF CONTRACTOR'S FIVE YEAR WARRANTY <br /> WARRANTY <br /> Know all men by these presents,that we, (Contractor) <br /> having installed a new roofing system on Central Recreation Center, Hillsborough, North Carolina under <br /> contract with Orange County Asset Management, warrant to Orange County Asset Management with respect <br /> to said work that for a period of five (5)years from date of final acceptance, said work will be free of leakage <br /> and defects due to workmanship and contractor negligence with the following exclusions: <br /> a) Defects or failures resulting from abuse by the Owner <br /> b) Defect in design involving failure of (1) structural frame, (2) load bearing walls, and (3) <br /> foundations. <br /> c) Damage caused by fire, tornado, hail, hurricane, acts of God, wars, vandalism, riots or civil <br /> commotion. <br /> We, (Contractor) , agree that should any leaks occur in the roofing system we <br /> will perform emergency repairs within 24-hours of notification and perform permanent repairs as soon as <br /> weather penults in a manner to restore the roof to a watertight condition by methods compatible to the system <br /> and acceptable under industry standards and general practice, all at no expense to the Owner. <br /> We, (Contractor) , further agree that for a period of five (5) years from date of <br /> final acceptance referred to above, we will make repairs at no expense to the Owner to any defects which may <br /> develop in the work in a manner compatible to the system and acceptable under industry standards and general <br /> practice as established by the Designer, all at no expense to the Owner. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF,we have caused this instrument to be duly executed this day of 201 . <br /> (Contractor) <br /> by <br /> Title <br /> (Pres, VP, Owner) <br /> STATE OF COUNTY.
