Coordinate installation of hatch with wall-mounted ladder installer. <br /> B. Cut opening in existing roof of sufficient size to allow installation of hatch. Opening <br /> shall be cut neatly to facilitate proper repair upon completion of anchor installation. <br /> C. Provide blocking as required to result in finished baseflahing height at roof hatch curb of <br /> 8 inches minimum. <br /> D. Install hatch with hinge side placed opposite ladder side. Verify that hatch is in the <br /> proper plane an not twisted or racked. Shim under base flange if required. Secure hatch <br /> to blocking per manufacturer recommendations. <br /> 3.03 Wall-mounted Ladder <br /> A. Coordinate installation of ladder with roof hatch installer. <br /> B. Align ladder with roof hatch. Verify that ladder is positioned opposite the hinge side of the <br /> roof hatch. <br /> C. Position ladder with bottom rung 12 inches above floor. Secure ladder to wall with anchor <br /> bolts. <br /> D. Attached ladder assist post to wall-mounted ladder.
