Verify existing field conditions. Minor dimensional detail changes may be required to fit <br /> existing conditions. <br /> 1.07 Storage and Handling <br /> A. Store materials dry and in such manner as to prevent condensation. <br /> B. Stack material to prevent twisting,bending,or abrasion. <br /> C. During storage prevent material contact with any substance that would discolor or stain, <br /> including soil and water. <br /> 1.08 Scheduling <br /> A. Sheet metal work shall be closely coordinated with the installation of new roofing materials. <br /> B. Sheet metal shall be installed such that roofing terminations will not be left unprotected. <br /> 1.09 Warranty <br /> All sheet metal flashing and accessories shall be guaranteed against defects in materials and <br /> workmanship for a period of five years. Sheet metal shall be covered in the roofing warranty. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 Sheet Metal Materials <br /> A. Copper: Shall be manufactured per ASTM B 370, cold rolled temper designation H00, <br /> weighing not less than 16 ounces per square foot unless otherwise noted; cleats shall be <br /> 20 ounces per square foot. Copper shall be commercial pure alloy 110. Copper shall be <br /> supplied in the natural "salmon reddish brown" color as supplied by the mill. Copper <br /> surface shall be free of all water staining and weathering oxides. The following sheet <br /> metal items shall be fabricated from copper: <br /> 1. Edge Trim 16 oz copper <br /> c. Stainless Steel Metal: Shall be type 316 stainless steel, 24GA cold rolled, annealed, with <br /> a 2B finish, and conforming to the requirements of ASTM A480 and Federal <br /> Specification QQ-S-766C. <br /> 2.02 Accessory Materials <br /> A. Lead: 3-lb per square foot conforming to the requirements of ASTM B29-55. Color <br /> shall be natural gray. <br /> B. Clamps: Shall be stainless steel,Type 316 <br /> C.
