A <br /> severe weather plan must be provided to the Designer and Owner indicating procedures <br /> to be utilized in the event of severe or hazardous weather conditions. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 Materials <br /> A. Except where noted otherwise, materials being demolished become the property of the <br /> Contractor. <br /> B. Remove debris in such a manner as to prevent accumulation on the roof. Debris shall be <br /> removed from the roof daily. Debris shall be covered when Contractor is not on site. <br /> C. Gypsum concrete or other lightweight concrete patch material: <br /> 1. Pyrofill as manufactured by US Gypsum <br /> 2. Cell-Patch as manufactured by Elastizell <br /> 3. Zono-Patch as manufactured by Siplast <br /> D. Formboard: <br /> 1. Securock Bypsum-fiber Roof Board, 5/8" thick, 6 pound density as manufactured <br /> by US Gypsum <br /> 2. GreenGlass Roof Board 5/8"thick,as manufactured by Temple-Inland <br /> 3. DensDeck Roof Board,5/8"thick,as manufactured by Georgia-Pacific <br /> E. Wire Reinforcement: Keydeck 2160-2-1619 galvanized wire mesh as manufactured be <br /> Keystone Steel <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 Examination <br /> A. Verify sections of deck requiring replacement by visually surveying the underside of the <br /> deck for sagging or water-damaged, stained, or wet formboard. Mark areas scheduled for <br /> replacement on the roof. <br /> B. Upon removal of the roof membrane, examine the deck for cracks, divits, soft areas, etc. <br /> Examine for areas of structural damage such s broken formboards, delamination of <br /> formboard, deteriorated wire reinforcing,bulb tees, etc. <br /> C. Document actual quantities removed for any materials bid on a unit price basis and report <br /> to Designer. <br /> 3.02 Removal of Existing Materials <br /> A. When removing roof materials, install 3/4" plywood over marked area.
