Limit size of work sections to safeguard adjacent materials, structures, etc. and to <br /> minimize dust,noise, and water damage. <br /> B. Protect existing site and facilities from damage during work. Do not overload new or <br /> existing construction with demolition debris, equipment,etc. <br /> C. Damage shall be repaired at Contractor's expense. <br /> D. Demolition adjacent to areas designated to remain shall be performed in a neat manner <br /> with straight lines to facilitate tie-ins of replacement materials. <br /> E. Demolition shall be performed by personnel familiar with the replacement of materials <br /> being removed. <br /> F. Excessive demolition, as determined by the Owner's representative, shall be replaced <br /> with similar and equal materials at the Contractor's expense in accordance with General <br /> Conditions of the Contract. <br /> G. Furnish necessary temporary protection from weather at all areas of demolition to protect <br /> interior of building from elements of weather at all times. Install specified roof system(s) <br /> and tie in to existing roof system as needed to make roof watertight daily. <br /> H. Maintain safety precautions during performance of the work. <br /> I. It is recommended that demolition not be performed if the chance of precipitation is 40 <br /> percent or more as reported by nearest office of the National Weather Service: daily <br /> weather log to be kept by Contractor. Contractor may, at its discretion, and in <br /> consultation with the Owner or its authorized representative, perform demolition when <br /> the chance of precipitation exceeds the noted percentage.
