All wiring needed to facilitate construction of the project including but not <br /> necessarily limited to breakers,junction boxes, switches, etc. shall be temporary in <br /> nature and shall be furnished and installed by the Contractor at no cost to the <br /> Owner. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor shall remove all such <br /> temporary wiring and restore service to its original condition at no cost to the <br /> Owner. <br /> 4. Provide flexible power cords as required for construction operations. <br /> B. Heating <br /> Provide and maintain all heat needed for proper conduct of all operations included in the <br /> work. <br /> C. Water <br /> The Owner shall furnish reasonable quantities of water required for construction at no cost to <br /> the Contractor. <br /> D. Telephone <br /> Provide an onsite telephone throughout the duration of the project at no cost to the Owner. <br /> 2.02 Sanitary Facilities <br /> Provide proper temporary sanitary facilities in the quantities required for use of all personnel. All <br /> facilities shall be maintained in a sanitary condition at all times in a location as designated by the <br /> Owner. <br /> 2.03 Enclosures <br /> A. Furnish,install and maintain for the duration of the project, all scaffolds, ladders,tarpaulins, <br /> barricades, warning signs, platforms, bridges, canopies, steps, and other temporary <br /> construction required to properly facilitate completion of the project in compliance with all <br /> safety and other regulations and in accordance with requirements of the Owner. <br /> B. Provide all necessary safeguards to warn and prevent pedestrians and Owner's personnel <br /> from being exposed to dangers or hazards created by this project. Safeguards shall be in <br /> accordance with Owner's requirements. <br /> 2.04 Signs <br /> A. Place signage at the various access points for this work disclosing the work and the <br /> responsible contact information as approved in advance by the Owner. <br /> B. No advertising of any kind shall be allowed on the project site. <br /> 2.05 Construction Aids <br /> A. Provide equipment for access to the roof unless otherwise directed by Owner. <br /> B. A disposal chute shall be constructed by Contractor to prevent damage to buildings and <br /> grounds. Disposal chute shall be enclosed type and shall be located such that demolition <br /> debris will be discharged from the building at the designated staging area directly into <br /> disposal vehicles or containers. <br /> 16-171 Temporary Facilities and Controls <br /> 015000.2 <br />
