Maintain quality control over products, services, site conditions, and workmanship, to <br /> produce work of specified quality. <br /> B. Provide safe access to the site and roof for inspection by the Owner or its authorized <br /> representative. <br /> C. Comply with industry standards except when more restrictive tolerances or specified <br /> requirements indicate more rigid standards or more precise workmanship. <br /> D. Perform work by persons qualified to produce workmanship of specified quality. <br /> E. Secure products in place with positive anchorage devices designed and sized to withstand <br /> stresses,vibration,and racking. <br /> 1.03 Quality Control-Owner <br /> A. The Owner reserves the right, at its discretion, to retain the services of an independent <br /> construction quality assurance representative to provide quality assurance of the work. <br /> Testing may be performed to determine any deficiencies in the roofing assembly. <br /> B. The cost of such services shall be borne by the Owner during the contract time. Any <br /> monitoring and testing required due to the installation being incomplete as a result of <br /> Contractor-controlled nonperformance shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> C. The Contractor shall be required to notify the Owner or its designated representative prior <br /> to cancellation of any operations and subsequent restart of the project. Any cost resulting <br /> from the failure to notify shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> D. Work found to be in violation of the specifications, or not in conformance with acceptable <br /> roofing standards, shall be subject to rejection including complete removal and replacement <br /> with new material at the Contractor's expense. <br /> E. The Designer shall document quantities of those materials bid on a unit price basis listed in <br /> the Point of Proposal as well as other materials. <br /> 16-171 Quality Control <br /> 014000.1 <br />
