Make all submittals in accordance with schedules specified herein unless otherwise required. <br /> B. A minimum of ten working days shall be allowed for review by the Designer following its <br /> receipt of the submittal. <br /> C. Delays caused by tardiness in receipt of submittals shall not be an acceptable basis for <br /> extension of the contract completion date. <br /> 3.02 Review <br /> A. Review by the Designer shall be directed to the general method of construction only and <br /> shall not be construed as a complete check,nor shall this review relieve the Contractor from <br /> responsibility for errors and/or omissions which may exist. <br /> B. The notations"Reviewed" or"Reviewed as noted" signed off by the Designer shall authorize <br /> the Contractor to proceed with fabrication, purchase, or both subject to the revisions, if any <br /> required by the Owner's review comments. The notations "Revise and Resubmit" or <br /> "Disapproved and Resubmit" shall require appropriate action and shall not authorize the <br /> Contractor to proceed until the item(s)in question have/has been corrected. <br /> C. The Contractor shall make all revisions as required. If the Contractor considers any required <br /> revisions to constitute a change notification shall be given to the Designer under the <br /> provisions as specified in the general conditions. Only those revisions directed or approved <br /> by the Designer shall be shown on the resubmittal. <br /> D. After a submittal has been approved by the Designer, substitution of materials or equipment <br /> shall not be considered unless approved by the Designer and accompanied by an acceptable <br /> explanation as to the necessity of the substitution. <br /> 3.03 Claims for Extra Cost <br /> No claim for extra cost shall be based on Work shown on shop drawings unless such claim is made <br /> on the Contractor's letter of transmittal accompanying the shop drawings and is approved by the <br /> Owner in writing. <br /> 3.04 Payment for Review <br /> A. Initial Services: The Designer shall provide an initial review and one subsequent review of <br /> submittals as required. <br /> B.
