He said an example would be if one category <br /> fills up with 250 units, then that list could be closed. He said special needs projects would have <br /> its own category. <br /> Chair McKee asked if the special needs projects would be 30-80% of area median <br /> income. <br /> Travis Myren said yes. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked if these plans include the work non-profit agencies are doing. <br /> Travis Myren said yes, and they had a meeting with the non-profit providers on the <br /> criteria after their last work session. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked if 250 units are reached in one category and non-profits want <br /> to add more one, can this be accommodated. <br /> Travis Myren said staff suggests that once a target number is reached, then the Orange <br /> County funding would cease for that category, and any other agency can fund what they want. <br /> Audrey Spencer Horsley said on-going updates will be provided to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners. <br /> Commissioner Jacobs said the more he thinks about how they calculate the number of <br /> units the more he is uncomfortable.
