Include an implementation timeline. <br /> Your funding will enable Voices Together to provide weekly 60-minute group music therapy <br /> sessions designed to address student's needs. Using a specialized music therapy approach, <br /> Board Certified Music Therapists use music as a tool to help improve social, cognitive, and <br /> emotional health of the students to effect positive change in their lives. The project will begin in <br /> late September and end in April with a year-end school performance that celebrates the <br /> tremendous efforts and achievement and individual worth of every child who participates. <br /> g) Provide a bulleted list of other agencies, if any, with which your agency <br /> coordinates/collaborates to accomplish or enhance the Projected Results in the Program(s) <br /> to be funded. In cooperation with the William R Kenan, Jr. <br /> Charitable Trust, Voices Together is developing a plan for scaling nationally. <br /> • Our partnership with The Orange County School District, Director of Exceptional <br /> Children and classroom teachers are essential to the success we have experienced <br /> throughout our seven years in the district. <br /> h) Describe what would happen if requested funding is not awarded at all or if a reduced <br /> allocation is recommended. <br /> Each child that does not have the opportunity to meet their maximum potential is a loss for not <br /> only that child, his/her family but also for the community. As these students age out of school, it <br /> is essential that they have the skills to become as independent as possible. Each student's <br /> ability to thrive is not only vital to the student and their families but to the community and it <br /> resources. Their ability to advocate and work with others can mean the difference between <br /> being able to work in a job setting or not.
