The amendment is reasonable and in the public interest because it: <br /> 1. Assists Orange County in promoting more efficient and sustainable land <br /> uses. <br /> 2. Encourage the preservation of additional natural area while allowing for new <br /> development opportunities. <br /> 3. Promote diversity with respect to available housing types. <br /> The Planning Board of Orange County hereby recommends that the Board of County <br /> Commissioners consider adoption of the proposed UDO text amendment. <br /> Lydia N.
