Planning Board Review: <br /> October 5, 2016 — Recommendation (NOTE: meeting cancelled due to lack of <br /> quorum) <br /> November 2, 2016 — Recommendation. The Planning Board voted unanimously <br /> to recommend approval of the Statement of Consistency and the Ordinance <br /> amendment the Zoning Atlas for the 15 subject properties. Agenda materials <br /> from the November 2, 2016 meeting can be viewed <br /> at: http://www.orangecountync.gov/November%202%20Planning%20Board%20A <br /> Benda%20Packet..pdf. <br /> The Planning Board's signed statement of consistency is contained <br /> within Attachment 4. <br /> b. Advisory Boards: <br /> Staff forward this proposal to <br /> Economic Development staff to keep <br /> them apprised of our efforts. <br /> c. Local Government Review: <br /> Not applicable. <br /> d. Notice Requirements <br /> BOCC Quarterly Public Hearing meeting notices were mailed to all property <br /> owners within 1,000 feet of all affected properties on November 4, 2016. Signs <br /> were posted on the properties subject to rezoning on November 11, 2016. Please <br /> refer to Attachment 5 for additional information. <br /> Legal advertisement for the public hearing was in accordance with the provisions <br /> of the UDO. <br /> e. Outreach: <br /> 17 General Public: Staff notified impacted property owners of the proposal to <br /> adjust district boundaries and held individual meetings <br /> through the month of September 2016 to review options. <br /> Staff met with a total of 40 people, some requesting <br /> additional time to review options. <br /> ❑ Small Area Plan Workgroup: <br /> ❑ Other: <br /> 4 <br />
