• <br /> 8 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Convey approval of basic, tier, a-la-carte service, equipment and installation rates. <br /> The FCC rate regulatory rules require the franchise authority to adopt this report as its <br /> own and issue an order, based upon a finding of fact, regarding the approval or denial <br /> of the cable operator's FCC-1200 series rate submittal. The rules require that the <br /> public be given an opportunity to comment; therefore, it is suggested that the public <br /> comment period coincide with a December public meeting of the County Commission. <br /> A rate order, conveying approval, is enclosed. The order can be executed at the <br /> conclusion of the public hearing. <br />
