DAY <br /> IN ORANGE COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Martin Luther King, Jr. was instrumental in the <br /> struggle for human rights worldwide , and <br /> WHEREAS, Martin Luther King, Jr. was the inspiration for <br /> civil and human rights nationwide, and <br /> WHEREAS , Martin Luther King, Jr. believed in civil rights <br /> for all people, and <br /> WHEREAS, Many jurisdictions nationwide recognize the great <br /> legacy to humankind inherent in the work and <br /> teaching of Martin Luther King, Jr. by observing a <br /> day in his honor, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Orange County Board of <br /> Commissioners proclaim January 16 , 1995 as <br /> MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
