They are planning <br /> a wonderful combination of special television programs and public events <br /> across the state. Orange County has a special relationship with UNC-TV <br /> because their original station, WUNC-TV/Channel 4 is licensed to Chapel <br /> Hill. The proclamation describes the considerable investment that the <br /> citizens of Orange County have already made as viewers and supporters of <br /> UNC-TV. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : To congratulate The University of North Carolina <br /> Center for Public Television for 40 years of statewide broadcasting <br /> service and to proclaim January 1995 as "UNC-TV Month" in Orange County, <br /> authorize the Chair to sign the proclamation and commend its observance to <br /> all Orange County citizens. <br />
