<br /> WHEREAS, Verla C. Insko was nominated by the voters of Orange County to the Orange County Board of
<br /> Commissioners in the Democratic Primary of May, 1990, and
<br /> WHEREAS, Verla C. Insko was elected by the voters of Orange County to the Orange County Board of
<br /> Commissioners in the General Election of November, 1990, and
<br /> WHEREAS, Verla C. Insko has since December, 1990 served the citizens of Orange County with great distinction
<br /> as a member of the Board of County Commissioners, giving freely and unselfishly of her time and
<br /> energy and through her foresight and leadership helped promote many progressive changes in the
<br /> operation of Orange County Government, and
<br /> WHEREAS, Verla C. Insko has given generously of her time, talent, special knowledge, and leadership skills
<br /> through her service on numerous community, County and State committees and councils among
<br /> which include her service on the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council, Library Board of
<br /> Trustees and the Social Services Board as well as short-term committees such as the School Ad Hoc
<br /> Committee,the Justice Facility Study Group and the Monitoring and Maintenance Committee, and
<br /> WHEREAS, Verla C. Insko having served four years in the office of County Commissioner of Orange County did
<br /> not seek renomination to this office in the Democratic Primary of 1994,
<br /> NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that the members of the Orange County Board of Commissioners wish her and her
<br /> family every happiness in the years ahead and directs this Resolution be presented to Verla C. Insko,
<br /> with a copy sent to the press, and the Resolution be spread on the Minutes of this m-eting, this 5th
<br /> day of December, 1994.
