PROGRAM <br /> DRIVER ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this 15th day of November, <br /> 1994 by and between the County of Orange on behalf of the <br /> Coordinated Area Transportation Program (C.A.T. ) , hereinafter <br /> referred to as the County, and Orange County Middle School <br /> Afterschool Program, hereinafter referred to as Orange County <br /> Schools. <br /> The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the <br /> conditions under which the County and Orange County Schools <br /> will cooperatively provide human service transportation <br /> through the C.A.T. system. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 1. To provide a certified CDL driver for the following <br /> route( s) as described: <br /> Five routes transporting Afterschool Program <br /> participants home from A.L. Stanback School each Monday <br /> through Thursday for the balance of the school year. <br /> 2 . To provide a back-up driver in case the regular driver is <br /> not available. <br /> 3 . To employ a C.A.T. Transportation Supervisor to handle <br /> any problems and to assure there is a driver available. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOLS <br /> 1. To reimburse Orange County at the rate of $10 .00 per <br /> hour for actual driver time plus $20. 00 per hour for 2 .5 <br /> hours of administrative personnel time within 30 days after <br /> billing. <br /> 2 . In the event the agency requires specialized training <br /> beyond driver's current level, it shall be their <br /> responsibility to: <br /> a) indicate the type & level of training; <br /> b) provide the prescribed training without cost to <br /> the County. <br /> 3 . To provide the Transportation Supervisor written <br /> notification of any transportation problems or unsatisfactory <br /> drivers' performance in order to take corrective action. <br />
