Passmore, ext. 2009 <br /> TELEPHONE NUMBER- <br /> Hillsborough - 732-8181 <br /> Chapel Hill - 968-4501 <br /> Mebane - 227-2031 <br /> Durham - 688-7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To request approval to add Piedmont HIV Healthcare <br /> Consortium to the participating agencies in the Coordinated <br /> Area Transportation (C.A.T. ) system and Chair to sign <br /> Agreement. <br /> BACKGROUND: The C.A.T. system, administered by the Orange County <br /> Department on Aging, provides drivers and vehicles to <br /> transport program clients. The C.A.T. agreements clarify <br /> the benefits and responsibilities of the parties involved. <br /> Piedmont HIV Healthcare Consortium first inquired about <br /> obtaining services from C.A.T. in 1992 . The Participation <br /> Agreement would formalize this coordination. The cost-per- <br /> trip would be consistent with other contract agencies <br /> ($12.25 per person each way) . <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> The Manager recommends approval of inclusion of Piedmont <br /> HIV Healthcare Consortium in the C.A.T. system and Chair to <br /> sign Participation Agreement. <br />
