At this last Tuesday's meeting, the Board of Aldermen asked that the Orange County Board of County Commissioners (as well as a number of other bodies) be invited to identify an unspecfied number (i.e. BOCC gets to choose) of ropresentatives to serve on a committee which would be reviewing the implementation of the Small Area Plan for the Northern Transition Area. The Board of Aldermen wishes to appoint this comm'~ttee next Tuesday evening. The attached letter went into the mail to you today, but we real'~ed thnt one oWmorebmembergs to this~committee pt tonight's) during which the BOCC would have an opportunity to appo' Rather than leave it at that, we decided to at least try this method of getting this n~quest in front of the commission at their worksession tonight.
