Adoption of the <br /> resolution does the following: <br /> (1) Endorses the process as described in the <br /> "Proposal ; " <br /> (2) Creates a Steering Committee; <br /> (3) Expresses the Board's intent to appoint two <br /> members of the BOCC to serve on this committee; <br /> (4) Authorizes the County Manager to meet with his <br /> counterparts from Carrboro, Hillsborough and <br /> Chapel Hill to prepare a joint proposal on how to <br /> proceed, including designation of a lead entity, <br /> project budget and schedule. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends adoption of the resolution. <br />
