Explain the handout - you first have a reprint from Popular <br /> Government which explains the types of zoning decisions and <br /> types of proceedings. On page 31 at the top it gives the <br /> statutory guidance for legislative public hearings. The <br /> statutes allow the governing board to "adopt . . . . " <br /> Geof can summarize the types of hearings or answer questions <br /> if we have any. <br /> 2. Second you have a survey of how other counties handle citizen <br /> input. Marvin will talk about how citizen comments are <br /> handled in other areas as well. <br /> 3 . I have listed the different times we receive public input. If <br /> we can decide on a policy and have it printed and available at <br /> the meetings, citizens will have clear guidelines for when it <br /> is appropriate to give input. <br />
