RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the status report <br />and provide direction to staff as desired, to include: <br />1. Review of proposed facilities for Northern Park, Phase I; authorize staff to proceed to <br />solicit construction bids for Northern Park in accordance with the schedule to provide for <br />bid award in June; and discuss names (if desired); and <br />2. Direction on the makeup of the selection recommendation committee for Fairview Park, <br />Phase II. <br />3. In addition, the Manager recommends that: <br />a: Staff and the consultant continue with the CUP application and design work for Twin <br />Creeks, Phase I, to include all four soccer fields, and <br />b. Determination of funding sources for Phase I be included in the fall 2007 CIP <br />development, and <br />c. Staff be directed to utilize the currently available (but not presently needed) funds for <br />Twin Creeks Phase I toward the investigation and installation of artificial turf at the <br />existing field(s) at Smith Middle School. <br />4. Other direction or feedback as desired by the Board. <br />
